Ireland sets forth plan to reopen
On May 1st, Taoiseach Leo Varadkar announced the Irish government plan to reopen the country. Current restrictions will stay in place with minimal change until May 18th. The government has then put forth a five-stage plan to reopen. But we should not be under any delusion that things will simply be business as usual.
Until a cure or vaccination is found some social distancing protocols will need to stay in place. How will businesses and other institutions adapt to be profitable and safe? One thing we can do is to wear a mask whenever in public.
